1. Great choke

   Hunted this choke for a few seasons , patterns are consistent and tight. This is my second Jebbs choke and I just recently ordered a 20 gauge turkey choke. I’m a customer for life, true domestic craftsmanship.

   Got a 585 and 575 dia for silver pigeon. 585 patterns all loads and shot sizes very well. 575 patterns every thing but number 2 shot steel very tight. I shot kent 2,4 shot,federal 4 and 2 shot,herters 4 shot and hevi13 mag blend 567shot 3 inch loads. Very pleased with patterns. No splotches, even distribution of pellets over paper. I shot sheets of freezer paper at 40 yards. No duck will survive out to 40yards if i do my part.

   I bought the 585 for my sbe3 20 gauge and patterned it and 20 then 40 yards and shot boss 3/5s at 20 yards there was 158 pellets out of 158 pellets on a 22 by 28 inch piece of paper. 22 width and 28 height. At 40 yards on the same size piece of paper it covered more of the paper so a wider pattern and had 155 out of 158 pellets on paper. Zero complaints. I have never seen birds fold that easily. I only recall 1 cripple which was completely my fault the bird was close to 55 yards it just seemed closer at the time.

   Purchased the 585 choke. Shot mallards with Boss #5 shot. Every bird I hit was stone dead. Very nice combination. Thanks Jeb for such great work.

   Such a great choke.
   
   Use a 585 and smoke birds at 10-50 yards using apex #2 and #4 and that’s my go to.
   
   Also shot Kent fasteel # 4 too and it was good pattern.
   
   Highly recommend this company due to great customer service and such a proven well trusted choke. Easy to clean and very deadly

   I have zero complaints about my .585. First time I took it out shooting, I won a 5 stand competition. Only missed 11 shots all day! Could've been the Indian, ask again after duck season.

   Patterned in a 20 GA SX4 with great results.
   
   Pattern super tight out to 40 yds where pellets are 50/50 split of horizontal line thru point of aim (POA).
   
   My gun has a slight (2") shift to left of POA of the center of pattern. Gun thing or me (not the choke.)
   
   Shooting #3/5 mix, Blend #2/4 and Bismuth #4. All roughly 1350 to 1400 fps.

    I was always tearing up birds in some of my tight flooded spots, and never really tried using my 20ga because I was afraid a standard Rem mod. choke would hold a good enough pattern or didn't have enough punch when I had to reach out. Patterned a .580 choke at 30 yards, and in short...... I WAS AMAZED! Just a change to this choke alone gives me better options when hunting woodies up tight or even those weary mallards coming in on the spread! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this choke is you're thinking of bringing a 20ga. back in the game!
